In recent years there have been several troubling reports regarding toys that present choking hazards, or are contaminated with lead or other harmful chemicals. We realize that these reports can make it difficult for you to come to a decision about which toys to purchase for your children and/or granchildren.

To ensure that your kids are safe, we're providing you with a link to the US Consumer Product Safety Protection Commission so that you can stay up to date on any specific toy recalls that may occur. (From the homepage, click on "Recalls and Product Safety News.")

In addition, the consumer action guide HealthyToys.org can provide information on lead levels and other harmful chemicals in certain toys.

The problems experienced within the toy industry are a serious and ongoing concern....one that we take very seriously. We not only have your children and grandchildren in mind, but our own as well.
