This is made in Italy and a wonderful toy. What is more exciting than building your own instrument and then getting to play it. When they are created they look like something you would see in a Dr. Suess book. They are so much fun and compatible with Quercetti's Tubation set. You then can build even bigger and sillier instruments or build any amazing creation you can think up! These are also safe for houses with babies. The pieces are quite large!

This is my 3 1/2 year old's very favorite toy and has been for over a year. He creates all sorts of things out of the pieces, though rarely musical instruments. He loves to make robots esp., but he comes up with stange tools and walkingsticks, weapons, and smoking pipes, too. I agree with the reviewer who stated that some pieces don't fit together as tightly as they should. When they fall apart, this frustrates him immensely, but overall, he still loves this toy and plays with it everyday without exception.

My 2 year old son received this toy last year for Christmas and he still plays with it now at 3. My now 18 month old also plays with it and so do their friends when they come over. It is very easy to get a sound out of it, which has encouraged them to play with it more. They like to make new shapes and instruments with it. We love this toy and recommend it to others!

Both my 18 month old and 4 year old enjoy this toy. My 18 month old can easily put the pieces together to form her own instrument, and my 4 year old has used the pipes as part of his play 'construction' projects. Also fun in the bathtub to watch the water run through and out the pipes. One toy - lots of uses!

I bought this for my niece's birthday, she is 2 and her brother is 3. They had a blast assembling and playing their instruments. It was the hit of the party. Loud, though!
