5 out of 5 stars Amazing! Not Your Father's Sudoku   February 12, 2007

This game is remarkably better than the numerical version of Sudoku. The maker's clever use of color variations (rather than traditional numerical distinctions) makes it more accessible to those who can, at times, fall among the numerically "challenged," even as it provides a completely new challenge to advanced players who may be approaching complacent proficiency with the more traditional numerical version of the game. I was impressed (and surprised, given the price) by the beauty of the wooden board and the tasteful colors of the wooden spheres. Puzzle cards are used to create ranges of difficulty from easy to challenging to "really tough" and they are easy to use. Kudos to the creators of this delightful game, which is also a handsome coffee table accessory.

5 out of 5 stars Sudoku fun   August 4, 2007

This is a great game for childen 6 and over as well as adults. It's fun; it's addictive. My adult friends and my grandchildren love it so it sits out on my coffee table for anyone to use. The game is very well designed, attractive and sturdy. My only caution is the colored balls are small and a potential choking hazard for small children and small animals; I strongly recommend that it not be left within their reach and be well supervised when in use. Also, it's a good idea to provide a small bowl to hold the game balls while the game is being played because they easily roll off the table. Sudoku is a one person game usually but this format easily lends itself to two players who want to work together to solve the same puzzle. This game is now at the top of my gift list along with Rush Hour.Rush Hour

5 out of 5 stars Right-Brained Sudoku is a Winner!   June 26, 2007

Super logic game for all ages - Grandpa, dad, and grandson all just love it -- you can play solo or duet (take turns trying to make a play).
Good antidote for kids who are glued to their gameboy. It's sudoku for both left and right-brained folks -- numbers are good for left-brainers, but the colors are better for others.

I like this even better than traditional Sudoku - my husband and I have been playing together instead of watching TV. It's a great game. Balls are a little difficult to get out of the plastic holder, but at least they're not rolling off somewhere.

5 out of 5 stars A Great Twist on Sudoku   January 18, 2008

I have to agree with all of the reviewers. This is a terrific twist on conventional sudoku. It occupies a treasured place on my coffee table in front of the TV. The game appeals to all ages and is an instant magnet to visitors and family alike. I find my kids play it while watching TV or just hanging out. All my daughter's friends can't resist it when they come over to visit. The balls certainly will roll all over the floor if dumped so a bowl or something is helpful, and yes, they can be swallowed by young children, so you can't leave it around if anyone is at that particular oral stage.
