LOVE LOVE LOVE TWILIGHT TURTLE!!!! September 21, 2009 H. Whitmore (Holland, MI) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
We have had Twilight Turtle and Twilight Ladybug. My favorite for the kids is Twilight Turtle. The lights in it are amber, blue and green, which are more soothing for them I think. Instead of amber, Twilight Ladybug has red and this color I find very annoying/bright to my eyes. Every time I try to use Twilight Ladybug to get them to sleep they stay awake longer. We have regular height ceilings and the lights from Twilight Turtle have no problem reaching the ceiling and walls, even from our floor, which the kids love. This may sound silly, but I enjoyed Twilight Turtle as a wonderful night light for breast feeding at night when the kids were babies. The stars were soothing and quiet and did not seem to bother them at all like some lights I tried.
may seem pricey - pays for itself July 16, 2009 Kevin M. Russell (Arkansas - US) 8 out of 9 found this review helpful
This turtle may seem on the pricey side if you were just looking for a nightlight for your child, but it is well, well worth it. Our son just turned three and has had it for years - but still asks for it every night. BLUE, BLUE he says (he likes the blue stars in it). And it really puts a LOT of stars on the ceiling. Beats getting the 'glow in the dark' stars and trying to stick those on a 10-foot ceiling. Turtle stays on a long time too - so very rarely do we hear him 'scream' that he wants his turtle back on (since it's dark after that) - but if so, after turning it on one more time, back to sleep.
One small note, it DOES have a 'on/off' switch on bottom. Didn't know this at one point and pressed too hard on the ON/OFF button on the TOP of it and broke it through (there is the switch on bottom and 'press' button on top for your child). We now have to use a metal ink pen to turn it on, but hey, it's still going strong. So lesson here: if it's not working, don't press too hard, check the bottom switch! :)

The turtle's back contains constellations found in our very own sky. It's a soothing thing to nod off to.
The turtle has a very sleepy face. Very cute.
I reccomend this nightlight for anyone...whether you have a hard time sleeping or your child is afraid of the dark.
Twilight Turtle is Awesome! May 30, 2009 ShopZilla (Atlanta, GA United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
First, I must admit, that when I bought Twilight Turtle, I was looking to buy a boring, run-of-the-mill nightlight for my spare bedroom because my 5-year-old niece comes to stay with me fairly often (especially now that it's summer!) After coming across Twilight Turtle, I had to order it! Twilight Turtle is the ultimate nightlight. The turtle projects images of stars onto the ceiling and emits a warm, soft glow in your choice of 3 colors: blue, green, or amber. If you're looking for a plain-old-boring nightlight, Twilight Turtle may seem a little pricey but if you're looking to inspire and soothe a child off to sweet dreams, it's well worth the cost. It even comes with a little book explaining the nightscape including the 8 constellations formed by the star pattern. My niece is plotting how to sucker me into letting her take Twilight Turtle home with her so I may soon purchase another Turtle, or his comrade, the ladybug. All in all, I'm glad I purchased the Twilight Turtle, even though it may make me a slightly over-indulgent Aunt!
Perfect for my 3 year old August 21, 2009 Jamie L. Bogard (Wylie Texas) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Now that my 3 year old finally transitioned out of her crib to her toddler bed we were having trouble getting her to stay there. She still gets out to see what Mom and Dad are up to, but much less now. She was so excited when it came in the mail and likes how easy it is for her to change the colors by herself. The amber color is very hard to see, but the blue and the green light up beautifully. It works when you put it on the floor, but by putting it on a short bookshelf the colors were much brighter and the shapes much clearer. Luckily it comes with the 3 AAA batteries installed because Mom forgot to check!
