From the moment I unpacked this toy it has been a favorite of my 14 month old daughter. She quickly learned how to open up the hippo and take all the pieces out. She will spend 20 minutes simply taking pieces out and putting them back in. Pushing the hippo around is also a giggle inducing activity. The little bird that comes with it is a big hit and receives lots of kisses. Fantastic toy for creative play and for learning colors, shapes, counting, and sorting. A+ toy!

I got this toy for my nephew and he LOVES it! He is totally in awe of the mouth part where you can put things inside it's mouth. He puts other toys inside the mouth as if the Hippo is eathing them (like blocks and other small toys). He also loves that it has wheels and rolls back and forth like a car and really enjoys just rolling it around.
The blocks are very much like Bristle Blocks from many years ago. They are a good size for small hands and easy to attach to one another or the back of the Hippo.
The toy is well made and can take a "beating" as only toddlers can do to a toy.
I give it a two thumbs up!

Bought this for my 13 month old daughter, who loves putting things in and taking things out. This definitely satisfies her! She loves to take the clipo pieces out of the hippo, and then put them back - either in his compartment, through the mouth, or behind his head.
She's also started playing with the clipo pieces, and can put some together, and take them apart, place them on the orange grid, or take them off. So far, she doesn't use it a lot as a push toy, but it rolls easily.
She enjoys playing with this toy, and it can keep her amused by herself for awhile too.

I purchased this for my 14 month old, and he loves it. He still doesn't quite get the idea of clipping, so he plays with it piece by piece, but he definitely has a lot of fun with it because of the bright color and the little chick. It's durable enough to go through the abuse by a toddler and I love the fact that all the pieces can be put away in hippo's belly at the end of the day.

My daughter totally loves this! She finds something new to do with it everyday. Sometimes she just pushes the hippo around and other times she plays with the clippo blocks. It's an excellent toy for those who are teaching their children to count. Her favorite part is the little chick that comes with it. She likes to chase the chick with the hippo. She'll put the blocks in the hippo's mouth but not the little chick! lol This is a simple, well-constructed toy that I think most kids will really like.
